Kuyalnik sanatorium named after Pirogov is the world's oldest unique mud resort.

The clinical sanatorium is located within the city, 13 km from the center of Odessa at the foot of Zhevagova Gora on the right bank of the Kuyalnik estuary.

Kuyalnik muds are recognized as reference by their medicinal properties, they contain a complex of biologically active substances, macro- and microelements, help to reduce inflammatory processes, stimulate protective and adaptive reactions, restore the functions of damaged organs and body systems.

Mud procedures are available in the mud baths renovated in 2016.
